Am enjoying life at the IIM hostels. Was joined by Dinesh Meel today. He is also from MDI and sits next to me in class. He has shifted to room no. 215. No points for guessing my room no. 214. Hope people don't read too much into this about my orientations. I still happen to be pretty straight.

Saw Traffic today. Great movie. Soderbergh rules.

Have also got Hotel - not the Arthur Hailley novel-this is a Ramsay production - has a host of stars - Naveen Nishchol,Rakesh Roshan. Music by Usha Khanna.

Did lot of strange things today. Started with blood donation-that was great fun. The guy who was 'fiddling' with my veins did a bad job and he didnt get the right spot. Something happened with my blood flow and voila it stopped flowing into the bottle. The Doc used his 'medical' skills and found a solution. He made the volunteer 'prick' (pun intended) my other right hand and even after all these troubles,they could not get the planned amount. The day didn't end here. I left office at 5 p.m.

I am in Ahmedabad.My only reaction that can be printed is I am appalled -Modi land has become the land of hatred,distrust,xenophobia too.The best thing that happened to me since coming here was watching "Jaanee Dushman- Ek Anhonee Kahaani" yesterday on Zee. Its a multistarrer starring Sunny Deol,Suneil Shetty,Sonu Nigam,Aftab Shivadasani,Armaan Kohli,Raj Babbar,Manisha Koirala,Akshay Kumar etc.

I am in Pune right now and the VSNL dial-up connection is really slow compared to the leased line @ MDI. Hence, the lack of updation of the blog. This shall continue for some time.
