I had been waiting for this movie for a long time now.

Lot of reasons:

1.I had derided Dil Chahta Hai a lot because I had a different concept of movie making and story telling for a long time.My taste and concepts of movie making have improved and was really looking forward to a movie by a young creative guy about a concept,which was so close to heart.

2.I myself have not been able to find out what is my calling in life - what is my Lakshya.I knew I would identify with the concept of this movie and was looking forward to it.

3.The stories around the shooting of the movie- the contracts that were drawn with AB and others,the rumours about AB reminding young Farhan that he has been acting in movies written by his father had already spiced up the movie enough.

Bought Yesterday's melodies,Today's memories.Amazing read.Have read the chapters on RD,Kishore.Great sources of trivia.I would recommend this to everyone who is interested in Hindi film music.

Jesus...

Saw Passion of Christ over the weekend.I thought I was watching a home video of the inmates of Abu Ghraib.It was two hours of torture - twenty minutes of whipping,thirty minutes of how Jesus carried his cross all over the town and the rest was people spewing venom at each other.

I was interested in learning more about the birth,life and death of Christ. Unfortunately,all the movie depicted was his death.
