My opinion (This has got nothing to do with facts/figures/effectiveness its an opinion purely mine)

England

Andrew Flintoff My hot favorite, currently. I have always been a fan of his bowling. His height and angled arm at the point of delivery makes it very awkward to play him. Amazing slipper. His batting is pure entertainment. This man plays with a lot of heart. Expectations weighed him down earlier in his career. He seems to have learned how to handle it, now.

Graham Thorpe Old favorite. The only player in this world who can decide to walk out of the team in difficult circumstances, more than once and still have the faith of the selectors and the team when he comes back.

Damien Martyn

I know he is one of my favourite batsmen in world cricket right now - he is one of the most stylish batsmen around. But,has anyone noticed the form he is in,right now?

he is reaching Federeresque proportions.he was very unlucky to miss out on his third successive hundred in India and today's knock against NZ must be heartening - they did sort him out in the last series.

Apologise?Who?Me?

Can we ever hope to see anything like this in Cricket? Will we ever see such a response from Warne/Mcgrath/Ponting/Ganguly on any count - misdemeanour/unsporting behaviour?

Has any Board taken any action against such petulance by their players?

The closest that anyone came to, was from the two unlikeliest ones - Cricket Australia criticising Mcgrath after the incident with Sarwan and now,the Sri Lankan Board asking Muralitharan to shut up (literally).

Stasticians

I was never for statistics, but this study is way too glaring to neglect, more so because the figures are spread over three years.

Just for Kix

Had got bored of the old template - I feel for those who were too polite not to mention how much it sucked.

The Republicans, the BJP, US of A, India

Yesterday, I finally watched Fahrenheit 9/11 and my first reaction was to send an SMS to Gaurav I am so proud to be part of a democracy which managed to vote out bigots.

The documentary shows how George W Bush has been inextricably involved in the money game that terrorism in U.S., actually is.
