Mental disintegration?

This Interview by Boucher seems to be an extension of the psycho babble that was a part of the series against New Zealand prior to this tour of India.

Lara all the way

Adam Gilchrist recalls a time during the 2003 tour of the Caribbean when he was standing up to the stumps as Ian Harvey bowled at Lara in a one-day international. As Ponting directed his fielder at deep mid-wicket to take up a position as a second man behind point, Gilchrist heard Lara mumble to himself "mistake", before smashing the next ball over mid-wicket and into the unguarded fence beyond.

Prince ! You can take a bow !!

This is a 'personal' post by a devotee. This is not an unbiased, balanced, analytical post that I try to write on the Cricket blog. So this goes on my personal blog.

After three decisions out of four going against him, it was inevitable that Brian Charles Lara hauls up one of his favourite bowling attacks and shows them who is the BOSS.

Varangaon

A few days ago, I had left a comment on Interrobang where I confidently asked people to look for Varangaon in the maps. It happens to be the place where I did all my schooling - in a Kendriya Vidyalaya.I have very sweet memories of the place.I promise to write more about it soon. For now, I'll direct you to a post on India Uncut which found a mention of Varangaon - in a different context.

Saheb

Saheb has always been my favorite politician (Madhav Rao Scindia, Praful Patel, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and Sheila Dikshit are others that I have always admired). I don't think he has been doodh ka dhula all the time. But the country would be benefited immensely if we have 25 leaders like this Maratha strongman.

I have always believed that economists don't make good politicians/administrators/leaders. They are too theoretical to succeed in real life.

Quiz on Saturday

The next edition of the BCQC is happening on Saturday. Going by the sample questions and the artwork that has gone into the teasers, this weekend should be an exciting one.
