Memory

I have never been a big fan of the drama that accompanies the anniversary celebrations of our leaders. But I don't think this was a result of the others realising that the functions are useless but simply because they don't bother.

And everyone is worried about Sehwag's ignorance of Mankad and Roy.

Nothing more...Nothing less. The former PM thought he shouldn't take a public stand of supporting the BJP. So he asks his son to 'break away' from him and form the Govt. with the 'communal forces'. This is so nonsensical.

The best thing to come out of it is that Karnataka will get rid of Dharam Singh. Since the time of Hegde, I have always wondered why Congress does well in Karnataka? The leaders have always been losers of the highest order. No PC from me.

As the heroes of my generation are either retiring from the game or fading away, the realization that I too have grown older is sinking in even deeper.

I am getting frustrated with my inadequacy with the English language to describe the joy that we derive out of classical music. The last time, it was Sawai Gandharva. This time it was Ken Zuckerman. Yesterday, we had gone to a Zuckerman show which really lived up to my very high expectations.
