This article can surely lead to deeper analysis of the colonial nature of the game - some would term it the old world charm of the game, some would point to these very aspects of the game as reasons for its failure to attract the super powers of the world - China, US and Russia who would have brought even bigger money into the game.

The article does make me think on these lines but my post would take a long time to come up - work at office and all that.
