Some confusion in the crystal ball/Oracle - the 200 shall be scored in the finals.

Kevin Pietersen is on top of the world rankings for ODI batsmen. I generally don't attach much importance to these rankings. For once, though, they seem to have got it right. In my mind, the world's best batsmen are Pietersen, Michael Clarke, Ricky Ponting, Hussey, Sangakarra, Lara, Kallis, Symonds and Collingwood. Of these, I love to watch all except Kallis, Sangakarra and Collingwood.

I got this from a friend - he said it is SUPERR.

I agree.

So, the West Indies are off to a good start. They sure have an effective ODI line-up and as everyone has been saying, all that they need is some consistency and they should be a strong contender during this World Cup.

I had earlier blogged about how this tournament can really reinvigorate the game in the Caribbean just like it did in India after 1983. It would be a fitting end to Brian Lara's ODI career.
