Well, this was waiting to happen. Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner of Freakonomics fame have talked about TDF and doping for a long time now. I think the incentive to cheat is always there and it gets extremely difficult to escape it in sport simply because the difference between winning and losing is so stark and tangible. It has been funny how some of the Chelski players have been talking of how odd they have felt without the Premiership trophy this season and how they will be taking back the trophy that always belonged to them. Isn't this a bit presumptuous? They were beaten fair and square by a wonderful United team and it wasn't like what happened to Sheffield. So Chelski have no reason to believe that they were had done.

Was there enough hue and cry over this? Well, I don't expect anything more than a hue and cry but nevertheless, this did deserve some, nay, LOT of attention from the Indian news channels. The Pakistan Government has so shamelessly been denying the presence of terrorists like Khalil in Pakistan that everyone has stopped even bothering about intelligence reports which claim otherwise. Now this was as public as it could get and definitely not something which can be pushed under the carpet.

No wonder it is Renuka Chowdhury who said the following
