It was interesting to read in today's papers about the felicitation of the Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam at Kesariwada by the Savarkar Smriti Pratishthan in Pune.Nikam shared the dais with Himani Savarkar, among others. What made it interesting was the fact that I had just gone through the list of people who have been found to be involved in the Malegaon blasts, according to the investigations by The Indian Express in its The Sunday Story section - most of those involved were office bearers of Abhinav Bharat, including its working president. Guess who heads Abhinav Bharat - yes, you guessed it right - Himani Savarkar.

Let me first get the confession out of the way – this post is about illegal mining. If you got conned by the headline into clicking on the link, well, that is half the point I’m trying to establish.

I read The Indian Express these days and find it to be a responsible newspaper which seems to have figured out the space that a physical newspaper needs to occupy in these times of sound-bytes, twitter, Digg and blogs.

I attended Seth Godin’s talk at the ISB, which was organized by Acumen Fund. Seth Godin has been an inspiration for the last three years and many major decisions that I have taken in life always begin with "What would Seth do in this situation?" Not that I know him well enough to predict what he would do but based on regular reading of his blogs for the last 3 years, I definitely know what he would like people to do. I have been calling myself his Ekalavya.
